    Pre-K-3rd Grade Early Learning Continuum

    Alabama Department of Early Childhood Education

    The Alabama Pre-K – 3rd Grade Integrated Approach to Early Learning aims to build upon student success and narrow the achievement gap by expanding access to Alabama’s high-quality Pre-K model.

    The Alabama Department of Early Childhood Education is working in collaboration with the Alabama State Department of Education to establish a strong early learning foundation for the children of Alabama. This will be accomplished through a comprehensive, systematic approach using their early learning continuum and Pre-K-3rd Grade framework, which has three focus areas: Leadership, Instruction, and Assessment.
