School districts that offer programs for children younger than Kindergarten (e.g., state-funded PreK, district-funded PreK, Head Start) face the challenge of balancing guidance about their district’s overall K-12 plans with guidance provided from early care and education programs/funding streams. This document provides a side-by-side comparison of the various guidances issued in just one state, Colorado. Intended to be a resource for Colorado school districts and other stakeholders, it may also be a useful template for other states to adopt/adapt.
